United for Libraries
This is the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF) which formed when Friends of Libraries USA (FOLUSA) combined with the Association for Library Trustees and Advocates (ALTA) to form ALTAFF, now called United for Libraries.
- Free DVD: Your Public Library-Keeping Your Community Connected
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has provided an eight-minute DVD and accompanying brochure to help library advocates inspire ongoing local support. This tool is designed to launch conversations with local government and community partners. It includes persuasive statistics, library patron stories, and a call to action for community members and leaders.
