Technology Procurement

The purpose of this site is to assist Florida public libraries in procuring technology and telecommunications services and receiving the greatest possible benefit from the Federal Universal Service (E-Rate) Program External Websiteprovided through the Telecommunications Act of 1996.

Provided here are sample RFPs, bid specifications, and other documents that libraries need in order to acquire technology and satisfy local government purchasing requirements and the "bid" requirements of the Schools and Libraries Division.

State Contract Services

Many Florida local governments and libraries use the Department of Management Services' (DMS) State Contracts and State Negotiated Agreement Price Schedule (SNAPS Agreements) for technology and telecommunications services and equipment.
