Membership: Five members appointed by the Governor: two members who are retired under a state-supported system administered by the Division of Retirement; two members who are active members of a state-supported retirement system that is administered by the department; and one member who is neither a retiree, beneficiary, or member of a state-supported retirement system administered by the department.
